Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Prepare the Sauce: Add heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
Cook the Broccoli: Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve: Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired and serve immediately.
