1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 small green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard

Directions:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
